Mexican performers in Downtown Downey

DOWNEY – Downey’s rooftop concert series returns this Wednesday, Sept. 24, with “Toast of Mexico,” featuring Aztec fire dancers, mariachi bands and a ballet folklorico. The free event is from 7-11 p.m. at the top of the downtown parking structure directly behind Krikorian Theatres.

The event includes live performances by the Tlanextli Tlacopan Aztec Fire Dancers, Trio Los Brillantes, Ballet Folklorico Mixteco and Mariachi Espectacular de Beto Jimenez with special performances by female vocalists from the Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Divas.
