Mousetrap adventure for kids

DOWNEY – Kids can learn how to build a mousetrap entirely out of balloons at a free event Thursday, July 17, at 2 p.m. Children will help Annie Banannie build a Rube Goldberg-style mousetrap using only balloons. As the mousetrap is built, kids will demonstrate how the simple machines can work together to set the trap in motion and “catch that pesky mouse.”

Show passes will be distributed to the first 110 children 30 minutes prior to show time. Due to space limitations, parents will not be allowed in the Cormack Room during the performance (although they are asked to remain in the library during the program). Latecomers will not be admitted to the room after everyone is seated.
