Plastic bags

Dear Editor: I just read that Gov. Brown is going to sign the “one use” bag bill.

I am so sick of all these idiots calling it “one use” when there are many, many uses for these bags, but they refuse to listen. Just shows how narrow-minded these politicians are.

They would rather cut down all the trees necessary in order to make “paper” sacks. How very thoughtful of them!

It has been said that using the canvas bags is not healthy - germs collect in the seams. Guess what the politicians say we should do? We should wash them every time we use them. Another waste of water which we are already short of.

What’s their next brilliant idea going to be?
