'Book of Mormon' extended 8 weeks

HOLLYWOOD - Due to popular demand, "The Book of Mormon" has been extended an additional eight weeks through May 2014 at the Pantages Theatre.Tickets went on sale Wednesday exclusively for American Express cardholders. The general public can purchase tickets starting Dec. 15. National tours of "The Book of Mormon" have broken 47 house records in 22 venues across the country. The production won nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Book and Best Direction. It also won the 2011 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.
