Christian club meeting Oct. 9

DOWNEY - "Come to the Fair" is the theme of the Downey Christian Women's Club's next meeting, Oct, 9, at Los Amigos Country Club.The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. and men are invited. Guest speaker is Lynne Leite, whose topic is "Ever Feel Like a Mad Hatter?" Admission is $15 and includes lunch. Reservations are requested by calling Anita at (562) 861-3414.
