Downey woman wins $1K giveaway

DOWNEY - The fall season just got a little warmer for Hometown Hardware & Garden customer Jan Dunlap.Dunlap was chosen the winner of the hardware store's $1,000 shopping giveaway last week. Dunlap was selected at random from more than 2,000 entries. "Everyone has a few extra chores this time of year, and we're glad that Jan was able to choose whatever she wanted to get the job done," store owners Greg Fuller and Ray Brown said in a statement. "We thank all those who entered the giveaway for their participation."
