Free books for kids Saturday

DOWNEY - The Assistance League of Downey will be giving away books to children this Saturday in front of its thrift shop on Downey Avenue.All children who visit the Second Tyme Around Shop during the farmers market will receive a free book. The giveaway is part of the Assistance League's celebration of "Make a Difference Day."
