Mayra Barajas and Jose Saldana

Air Force Airmen Mayra Barajas and Jose Saldana have graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio. They both completed eight-week programs that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. They also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Barajas is the daughter of Jose and Maria Barajas, of Downey, and graduated from Downey High School in 2012.
