Spartans invited to Christmas parade

DOWNEY - West Middle School's marching band has been invited to participate in the Hollywood Christmas Parade taking place Sunday, Dec. 1.The band will perform with Bellflower High School's band, which is under the director of Omar Vidana. The parade begins at 5 p.m. on Hollywood Boulevard. Buzz Aldrin is grand marshal.
