West Downey Little League's Select 7-8-year-old team won the championship, going 4-0 against La Mirada, Buena Park National, Buena Park American and Metro. The tournament consisted of eight teams from District 29. The team's last game was July 23 at Buena Park American against Metro, where the final score was 8-4.
