Astronomy club meets Saturday at space center

DOWNEY – Stephen J. Edberg, an astronomer with JPL, will be guest speaker at this Saturday’s meeting of the Columbia Astronomers club. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Columbia Memorial Space Center. The executive director of the RTMC Astronomy Expo also will be a featured guest.

The meeting’s topic is “Fantastic Pictures from Space: Getting Them Ain’t as Easy as It Looks.”

Columbia Astronomers meetings are open to the public. Admission is $2 for guests; optional memberships are $15 for adults, $8 for children, and $40 for families.
