Donna Ambrosia mourned by family

DOWNEY -- Donna Ruth Di Ambrosia, a resident of Downey for 60 years, passed away Feb. 23 following a 17-month battle with cancer.She was born Aug. 25, 1937 at Doctors Hospital in Los Angeles to William and Helen May. She graduated from Downey High School in 1955 and attended Compton and Fullerton junior colleges. She worked for Lockheed and then Ford Motor Co. in 1958, where she met her future husband, Kenneth. They were together 50 years, spending 45 years as husband and wife. Ambrosia is survived by her husband, Kenny; two daughters, Gina and Lisa; son-in-laws, Gary and John; and granddaughters, Kayla and Alyssa.
