Hospice volunteers in need

DOWNEY - Companion Hospice Care is now recruiting volunteers for its upcoming training program. Volunteers become friends to people during the final phases of their lives.Volunteers can also relieve tired caregivers for short periods of time, or help with errands and shopping. Volunteers will receive 16 hours of training, held Saturdays beginning March 21. Companion Hospice Care is located at 8130 Florence Ave., Suite 200, in Downey.
