Mall in search of volunteers

DOWNEY - Stonewood Center is searching for mothers and daughters who can help assemble 500 "care kits" for the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life.The kits, which include items donated by Stonewood retailers like Robek's Juice and local orthodontist Dr. Alon Ofir, will be donated to local women in need. Women of all ages and mother/daughter teams with children 10 years and older are encouraged to help. The kits will be assembled May 7 at 5 p.m. inside the Macy's Court at Stonewood Center.
