Sister Cities going to Stateline

DOWNEY - The Downey Sister Cities Association is organizing a fundraising trip to the California-Nevada stateline casinos on Oct. 3.The bus will depart from behind Embassy Suites at 6 a.m. and return by 10 p.m. Cost is $30 and includes a buffet meal at Buffalo Bills Casino. Gambling is available at the Stateline casinos and there is also a outlet shopping center. Travelers must be at least 21 years old. For more information, call Paula Mejia at (562) 884-9657.
