EXTENDED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES PROGRAM,
LEVELUP FOR
LYNWOOD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
INVITATION TO BIDDERS
The District is excited to extend the Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek new partnerships with providers (the “Providers”) to deliver the services outlined herein (the “Program”).
The aim of the Program is to promote, celebrate, and develop the whole child through innovative and engaging extended day learning opportunities. This initiative is offered in partnership with the Lynwood Unified School District and community organizations. The Program seeks to provide a productive and enjoyable space for students for (1) before-school programming, focusing on engagement and social-emotional learning, and or (2) after-school programming focusing on academics, arts, and STEAM, and or (3) Summer Enrichment either on-site or off-site programming. The agreement is for a one year term with the option to renew the agreement yearly for up to (not to exceed) 5 years.
After School Arts and Cultural Enrichment - Mariachi Music Providers must be able to offer sequential instruction in mariachi instruments and vocals. Instruction should foster musical proficiency while cultivating students’ confidence and pride in cultural expression. After School STEAM Enrichment - Gardening and Environmental Science - The program must be designed to help students understand and care for the environment while making meaningful academic and social-emotional connections.

Important: Firms interested in submitting a response to this RFP are not to contact by any means, any Board Member, Administrator, or staff member of the District other than the designated Buyer identified above regarding this RFP. If this directive is violated, the District may deem the Firm’s “submittal” to be “Non-Responsive”, and no further consideration will be given.
